Educator Resources

BEHAVIOR – Understanding student behavior starts with understanding child development. Behavior is not just a choice—it is communication. Every action, from a toddler’s tantrum to a teenager’s defiance, is rooted in developmental stages, unmet needs, or learned responses. We hope these practical, research-based resources will help decode what behavior is really saying.  When we understand the why behind behavior, we are better equipped to guide students toward positive growth, stronger relationships, and academic success.

ACADEMICS –  Alternative Learning is one of the best-kept secrets in education. If only we had a little community school on every corner. Where everyone knew everyone. The smaller class sizes, individualized learning goals, and meeting everyone where they are academically give students who have never had an opportunity to be successful. Students struggling academically tend to do better with hands-on projects.
